Charles Aaron Garrison

Mr. Charles Aaron Garrison, 84, of Alto, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hickory Flat United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on July 6, 1937 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Howard and Lenora Free Garrison. Mr. Garrison was retired from New Holland Mill where he was a supervisor.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Garrison is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Garrison and sisters, Ruth Healan and Doris Edge.

Mr. Garrison is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Garrison of Alto; son and daughter in law, Keith Aaron and Carolyn Garrison of Alto; son, Andrew Howard Garrison of Cornelia; daughter, Theresa Garrison (William Fowler) of Lula; son and daughter in law, Douglas Charles and Sandra Garrison of Lula; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Talmadge Garrison of Dawsonville, Edwin Garrison of Gainesville, Garry Garrison of Gainesville, sister, Brenda Forrester of Lula and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
