Willie Grace Ward Dalton

Mrs. Willie Grace Ward Dalton, age 93, of Gillsville, GA passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffery Gailey officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 21st from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Born on June 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Britt and Vassie Grizzle Ward. Willie was preceded in death by her husband, E.A. Dalton; son, Kenneth Dalton; brother, J.B. Ward; sisters, Gladys Jones, Callie Watson, Nellie Saine and Lillie Mae Palmer.

Willie was a member of Faith Tabernacle of Talmo, GA where she faithfully served as church secretary for a number of years. She was a skilled seamstress and loved making quilt tops.

The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at New Horizons Limestone, and Hospice of Northeast Georgia as well as special caregiver and friend, Bonnie Maney for their care of Willie.

She is survived by her sister in law, Ladell Reynolds of Gainesville and several nieces and nephews.
