Clarence Lamar Smith

Mr. Clarence Lamar Smith, 72, of Gainesville passed away Friday, September 24, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Rev. Jammie Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on July 15, 1949 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Clarence Smith and the late Kathleen Kemp Smith. He was self-employed in the House moving industry.  Mr. Smith was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his son, Tony Smith.

A loving Daddy and Papa to his kids and grandkids, Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Donna Smith of Maysville; sons and daughters in law, Jared and Kim Smith of Gainesville, Derek and Danielle Smith of Gainesville, Tim Smith of Gainesville; grandchildren, Austin Smith, Amara Smith, Payden Smith, Landon Lee; sister, Lynda Black of Gainesville; brothers, Gary Smith of Gainesville, Milton Smith of Gainesville, Mitchell Smith of Gainesville and a number of other loving relatives.
