Darlene Waters

Darlene Waters, 91, of Dahlonega passed away Friday September 24, 2021.

Born January 18, 1930 in Kingsford, Michigan to the late William and Gladys LeMay, she had lived in this area since 1975. Darlene formerly worked at Fieldale Farms, McDonalds, Chick-fil-a, and retired from the Ingles in Dawsonville.  She enjoyed her dogs and fellowship with her family and friends.  Also preceding her in death were her children, John Joseph Hoppa and Larry Hoppa.

Surviving are her children, Dorothy Botters, Ripon, WI, Walter Hoppa, Dahlonega; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 1 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Jerry Ray will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Dahlonega Assembly of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 4 until 7 at the funeral home.
