Horace Edwin Threlkeld

Mr. Horace Edwin Threlkeld, 75, of Flowery Branch, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 at The Chapel on McEver at Free Chapel. Rev. Jentezen Franklin will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on October 9, 1945 in Madison County, GA, he was the son of the late Joseph Warren and Mary Lou Reeves Threlkeld. He was retired from Yellow Freight and a member of Free Chapel Worship Center.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Threlkeld is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Robert and Joe.

Mr. Threlkeld is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elaine Threlkeld of Flowery Branch; daughter and son in law, Amie and Tommy Hill of Stone Mountain; sons and daughters in law, Chris and Jan Threlkeld of Gainesville, Ronnie and Michele Threlkeld of Clermont; grandchildren, Chelsea and Tre Dudley, Kelby Threlkeld (Carolina), Holli Threlkeld, Jordan Moon (Chellsy), Kaitlin Threlkeld, Tyler Moon (Kacie), Shelby Rodriguez (Tony); great-grandchildren, Addison and Ryan Dudley, Luke, Levi and Everly Moon, Zane Threlkeld, Axel Threlkeld; brother, Louis Brown of Oakwood; sister, Carolyn Dover of Gainesville and a number of other loving relatives.
