George Arlen Younes

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. George Arlen Younes, age 97 of Athens, Georgia (South Jackson Community) who entered into rest Thursday, October 21, 2021.  Mr. Younes was born in Cleveland, Tennessee and was a retired Iron Worker and Auctioneer, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy in both World War II and the Korean War.  Mr. Younes is preceded by his wife Bessie Viva Younes.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 24 from Evans Memory Gardens with Military Honors by the American Legion.

Survivors include his son, Glynn Younes of Athens and two grandchildren, Amanda and Brandon Younes.
