Michael A. Reed, 53, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd and Clara Dean Henderson; Joseph L. Reed and Frances Reed Johnson; and father-in-law, Wiley Hutto, Jr.  Mr. Reed is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Holly Hutto Reed of Sugar Hill; son, Michael Chase Reed of Sugar Hill; parents, Anthony and Brenda Henderson Reed of Sugar Hill; sister, Wendy Reed Pendley and husband, Mitchell of Buford, GA; mother-in-law, Betty Jean Hutto Carpenter of Buford, GA; brother-in-law, Todd Hutto of Buford; sister-in-law, Carla Hutto of Buford; five nieces; one nephew; four great nieces; aunts and uncles, Ann and Ronnie Cole of Flowery Branch, GA, Dale and Hollie Henderson of Cumming, GA, Pam Reed Smith of Dahlonega, GA,  Kathy Brookshire of Dahlonega, GA; and numerous cousins. Michael Reed was born on June 30, 1968 in Buford, GA. He was a 1987 graduate of North Gwinnett High School, and he had worked for McDevitt Construction Company and Bovis Lend Lease. Mr. Reed enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Buck Creek Sportsman Club in Oglethorpe, Georgia.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Buford Church of God with Rev. Billy Johnson, Rev. Kenneth Parker, and Dale Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 31 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
