Lloyd Lee Little

Obituary Date: Tuesday, November 2, 2021

Mr. Lloyd Lee Little, age 93, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his residence, following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Joel Trigg will officiate.  The family will receive friends 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2021 and 12:00 – 2:00p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Little was born February 18, 1928 to the late Hubert Lee & Claudine Mabry Little in Hall County.  A Veteran of the United States Army, he was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.  Lloyd began his lengthy poultry career at Hatchery & Poultry Supply and Dixie Poultry Supply.  In 1974 he started his own business, Little-Woodall Supply Co. Inc. in Gainesville.  Lloyd enjoyed every day of work, meeting, talking and helping his customers.  He loved his work so much that he did not retire until he was 90 years old.  Even when not working for his business, Lloyd always kept busy whether it was working in his garden or landing a helping hand to anyone in need.  He will be thoroughly missed by his family and many friends.

Mr. Little is survived by his wife of almost 69 years, Evelyn Little of Flowery Branch; daughter & son-in-law, Regina & Tommy Shadburn of Gainesville; son & daughter-in-law, Roger & Cathy Little of Flowery Branch; son, Robert Little of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Thomas Little of Gillsville, Emily & Nathan Gredler of Decatur, Travis & Allison Little of Flowery Branch, Amanda Shadburn and Ashley Shadburn of Gainesville; great-grandchildren, Elissa Little and Rhett Little; niece, Sandra Schneider; and nephews, Richard Clark and Russell Ladd.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert & Claudine Mabry Little of Flowery Branch; sisters, Jerree Clark of Flowery Branch, Catherine Baker of Gainesville; and brother, Herman Little of Flowery Branch.
