Molly Wood Brown

Mrs. Molly Wood Brown, age 92, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, November 18, 2021 at The Oaks-Athens.  Mrs. Brown was born in Gillsville to the late Harbin and Florence Marie Segars Wood.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Commerce and a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, William J. “Bill” Brown.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her sons, Abe Brown of Commerce and Brad Brown of Gainesville; daughter, Bonnie Harris of Athens; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 24 with Dr. Carlton Allen officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 9 to 11 AM, Wednesday.
