Ronald Edward Verhoff

Ronald Edward Verhoff, 79, of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Evan Verhoff; brother, Ivan Verhoff; and sister, Alice Verhoff Palte. Mr. Verhoff is survived by his wife of 56 years, Grace Ann Brown Verhoff of Buford, GA; daughter, Laurie (James “Jay”) Thomas of Buford, GA; son, Chad Edward (Lisa) Verhoff of Novelty, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jordyn Verhoff, MaryGrace Thomas, Jackson Verhoff, Greyson Verhoff, and Zachary Thomas; brothers, Daniel (Mary Kay) Verhoff of Columbus Grove, Ohio; William (Monica) Verhoff of  Milford Center, Ohio; Michael (Kimberly) Verhoff of Columbus Grove, Ohio; brother-in-law, Bob Palte of Glandorf, Ohio; sisters, Marjorie (Larry) Tabler of Columbus Grove, Ohio; Judy (Gary) Kirst of Columbus Grove, Ohio; and Mary Beth (Randy) Diller of Ft. Recovery, Ohio; sister-in-law, Lena Verhoff of Ottawa, Ohio. Mr. Verhoff was born September 12, 1942 in Lima, Ohio, was a 1960 graduate of Columbus Grove High School, and was a veteran of the United States Army for six years. He retired from ScotLad Foods after thirty years of service, and also worked at Allentown nursery in Lima, Ohio for fifteen years in management. Mr. Verhoff was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA, a member of Knights of Columbus, and a former member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Lima, Ohio. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home on Monday, November 22. Interment will be at Gesthsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH at a later date.  Interment and service in Lima will be arranged by Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Shawnee Rd., Lima, OH.
