Sylvia Grace Cagle

Mrs. Sylvia Grace Cagle, age 64, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, November 26, 2021. 

Mrs. Cagle was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was born on March 12, 1957, to the late Claude and Vernell Satterfield Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Grady Davis, Bazel Davis, and David Davis, and sister Mary Lou Davenport. Mrs. Cagle was a graduate of Lumpkin County High School with the class of 1976. She was a homemaker and deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Cagle loved sewing and taking vacations.

Survivors include her daughter Candida White (Allen); brothers Marvin Davis (Ruth), Delton Davis, and Melvin Davis; grandchildren Braydon White, Nathan White, Clayton White, and Gracelyn White, all of Dahlonega; niece Brandy Marshall; and several other nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, November 29, 2021, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Barrett and the Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Davis Chapel Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
