Jimmy Eugene O’Bryant

Jimmy Eugene O’Bryant, age 79 of Free Home, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021. Jimmy was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church as well as a Mason and Shriner. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea for 20 years and 7 months receiving many medals and awards. He worked for Dyncorp for 15 years in Korea.

He is survived by his loving wife Unsuk Park O’Bryant of Free Home; sisters and brothers, Thena Mae Satterfield of Cumming, Dot and husband Terry Clark of Gainesville, John and wife Peggy O’Bryant of Woodstock, Floyd and wife Pat O’Bryant of Free Home, Loyd and wife Betty O’Bryant of Free Home, along with numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kyoungshin and Kyoungsook Park of Korea along with 6 nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Martin and Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 30th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.

Interment will follow on Wednesday, December 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to New Harmony Baptist Church, 4952 Heardsville Road, Cumming GA 30028.
