Lois Ann (Nanee) Mittiga

Lois Ann (Nanee) Mittiga passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 85, at her home in Suwanee, GA. Her passing was very unexpected as she was strong and healthy prior to that day.  Lois was surrounded by loved ones when she passed. 

Lois married her high school sweetheart Frank (Sonny) Mittiga in 1955. She was the proud mother of Jody, Jamie, Julie, and Joe and their partners, Simone, Jan and Clark.  Over time her greatest joy came from her grandchildren:  Matthew, Andrew (deceased), Christopher, Adam, Alex, Zach, Joseph, Ryan, and great-grandchild Zoey.  The friendships she developed with colleagues spanning over 30 years at Scott Hudgens Companies/Wheeler-Kolb Management/Brand Real Estate Management companies made her life complete.

Lois is survived by her husband, Frank (Sonny) Mittiga; sister, Penny Chunn; brother, William Waltz; and sister-in-law, Joanne (Mittiga) O’Neil.

Visitation services will be held Monday, December 6, 2021, from 6pm-8pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Mass services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, starting at 11:00am at St. Monica Catholic Church, located at 1700 Buford Highway, Duluth, GA. Father Frank Durkin will officiate.
