Jerry "Little Man" Fricks

Obituary Date: Monday, November 29, 2021

Jerry “Little Man” Fricks, 28, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday November 29, 2021.

Born December 1, 1992, Little Man was a lifelong resident of the War Hill community in Dawson County.  He was a graduate of Dawson County High School and was employed by Pump Daddy owned by Jon Pugh.  Little Man was a true friend, loved by so many.  He will be remembered for his contagious smile, goofy laugh and love of life.  He loved helping anyone work on anything with a motor.  His motto was, “If you can’t fix it – Fricks it”.  If you ever saw a cloud of smoke, you knew Little Man was there.  He loved burnouts and laying rubber.  The streets of gold will be lined with asphalt.  Mr. Fricks was preceded in death by a brother, Troice Ledford.

Surviving are his son, Dylan Cooper Fricks, Dawsonville; parents, Jerry Fricks and Janie Ledford, Dawsonville; and countless other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Sandy Reece and Trevor Evans will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to assist with final expenses.

Out of respect for the dignity of celebrating Jerry’s life and out of respect for the other families the funeral home and church serves, the family requests that no burnouts or marks be left on the funeral home property or the church property.
