Travis Gordon Dacus

Mr. Travis Gordon Dacus, 68, formerly of Lula, GA, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at his residence in Toccoa, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Adam Moody and Pastor Justin Boyd will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Monday, December 13, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Born on September 1, 1953 in Fulton County, he was the son of the late Robert Gordon and LeeNora Hicks Dacus. He was self-employed owning T.D. Termite and Pest. Mr. Dacus was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dacus is preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Lee Dacus, David Leon Dacus, and Mark Anthony Dacus.

Mr. Dacus is survived by his sons, Jimmy Brooks Dacus (Paula Tlina) of Toccoa; Dustin Archer Dacus of Clermont, Davey Scott Dacus (Nola) of Gainesville; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Doyal Dacus (Jean) of Ellijay; sister, Sandra Bone (Mike) of Mableton; brother, Ken Dacus (Peggy) of Lula; aunts, uncles, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
