Richard F. Povolny

Richard F. Povolny 79, of Blairsville passed away Monday December 13, 2021.  Richard was born on September 28,1942 in Flushing, New York to the late Francis and Josephine Povolny.

He is survived by sons; Zach, Gene (Irene) and Frank (Michelle), Povolny and daughter; Linda (Marc) Linton, grandchildren; Heather (Kevin), Tosha (Bill), Breanne (Connor), Ryan, Bibiana, Erin, Austin, Evan, Cerra, Josiah, Luis and Madalyn, great-grandchildren; Mitchell, Michael, Jay, Justis and Della.

Richard enjoyed boating in the waters off of Florida, shooting pool at the Moose Lodge and most of all making friends with everyone he met.

"See that? In the first 5 minutes I have made them smile! THAT is what I enjoy doing most."

The family will receive friends Monday December 20,2021 from 5-8 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 21,2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Keith Joseph officiating.  Interment will follow at Red Wine United Methodist Church Cemetery.
