Mrs. Katie Mae Patterson, age 90, of Danielsville passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Patterson was born in Commerce to the late, Early and Lois Wade Seay. She was the oldest member of Sonlight Baptist Church and was retired from Superior Pants. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patterson was also preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Patterson.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her daughters, Debbie Andrews of South Parish, ME and Yvonne Seay of Danielsville; sons, Stephen Patterson of Athens, Tony Patterson of Elberton, and Kelton Patterson of Colbert; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, December 18 at Sonlight Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Reynolds and Rev. John Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10 to 11 AM.
