Danny Samuel Cleveland

Danny Samuel Cleveland was born to the late Sims Samuel Cleveland & the Late Maxie Greene in Macon, Ga on July 19, 1928. 

Danny attended Elementary school in Macon through 7th grade. Danny worked as a mail handler at the U.S. Post Office, then as a security, and finally as a storekeeper at the warehouse for Brentwood, NY school district. 

Danny was a Jehovah’s witness and was very active in his congregation. Danny was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to live sports events. He was very good billiards player and played often in pool halls in his vicinity. Danny enjoyed traveling and driving to visit relatives. 

Danny is preceded in death by his wife Essie Mae Rawlings, Parents Sims Cleveland & Maxie Cleveland, Siblings Joseph Cleveland, Arron Cleveland, LeBonnie Cleveland, Sarah Robinson, Lois Jones, Willie “Billy” Cleveland, Lauraella Cleveland, and Jackie Cleveland. 

Danny leaves to cherish his memory to his sister Dorothy Gastin of Warner Robins, Ga. and brother Anzee Cleveland of Oakwood. 

There will be a visitation held for Mr. Cleveland Monday, December 20th between the hours of 12-7 pm at the Wimberly Funeral Home. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
