Mrs. Lorene Jackson, 85, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 in the chapel at Alta Vista Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 10:30 a.m. until the service hour.
Born December 25, 1935, Lorene was a resident of Hall County. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who worked very hard as a nurse. Lorene was one of a kind, and you never had to wonder what she thought. She enjoyed planting flowers and vegetables in her gardens, cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her loved ones. She did everything with a smile on her face and love in her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ezzie Lee Stells; sons, Anthony “Tony” Wilson and Mike Jackson, and granddaughter, Lori Reynolds.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Dale Jackson; daughter and son in law, Jesse and Rita Gillespie, Charles and Brenda Gignilliat; grandchildren, Jessica Gillespie Kliesrath, Tim and Kristi Gillespie, Kevin and Tammy Peavy, Matthew and Tiffany Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Kiersten Kliesrath, McKensi and Spencer Skelton, Maci Gillespie, Maelie Peavy, Cloe Reynolds, Ella Reynolds, and Jocelyn Reynolds; sister and brother in law, Hartwell and Barbara Lancaster, Gene and Juanita Evans.
