Jack Marcus Guthrie

Jack Marcus Guthrie, Jr., 72 of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday December 21, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Braselton Campus.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Guthrie was the son of the late Jack Marcus Guthrie, Sr. and Ola Mae West Guthrie. He was retired from Advanced Disposal Service and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Ransom Guthrie, Flowery Branch; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Kristi Guthrie, Flowery Branch; daughter and fiance', Charity Guthrie and Ariel Milan, Braselton; two grandchildren, Stephen Cape Guthrie and Lily Grace Guthrie; sister, Linda Edge, Hoschton; mother-in-law, Wynelle Ransom, Gainesville.

Mr. Guthrie is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Christian Faith Guthrie; father-in-law, Rev. James Ransom.

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 23, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. John Dell and Rev. Johnny Knight will officiate.  Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday December 23 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
