Janice Cole Maddox

Janice Cole Maddox, age 68 , of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Golden and Sallie Thomas Cole; sister Joan Cole Simpson.  She is survived by her daughter, Jody (Rusty) Maddox; granddaughter, Amanda (Jacob) Bennett; great-granddaughter, Olivia Delrosario; several cousins.  Ms. Maddox was born May 21, 1953 in Buford, GA.  She received her education at Buford High School.  She had worked for Scientific Atlanta for a number of years and was of the Baptist Faith.  A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. Benny Parker officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2021 at Flanigan Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Flanigan Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
