Linda Jo Coffee Long

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Ms. Linda Jo Coffee Long, age 58 of Hoschton, Georgia who entered rest Tuesday, January 4, 2022.  Ms. Long was born in Buford, Georgia a daughter of the late John William Coffee and the late Helen Patricia Shumake Parks, and worked in Quality Control with Carters Warehouse Distribution Center.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Long is preceded by brothers, David Richard Parks and Clarence Stephens, Jr. and a sister Jeanette Cates.

Survivors include one son, Josh Long (Kelly) of Hoschton, sisters Marie Hix (Punk) of Hoschton, Bobbie Ann Dowdle (Gary) of Reynolds, Martha Gooch (Wilburn) of Braselton, Virginia Marlow of Gainesville, Linda Jo Spriggs of Gainesville, Mildred Carver of Gainesville and Dorothy Massey of Jefferson.  Brothers Shannon Parks (Angie Carol) of Gainesville, John Stephens of Gainesville, Homer Lee Stephens of Gainesville, and Billy Ray Stephens (Ernestine) of Gainesville.  Granddaughter, Hailey Long, nieces, Tonya Wilkes, Mandy Broome and Ally Hix, and great niece Rylee Mize.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M Friday, January 7, 2022, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
