Vickie Ivey Crawford

Vickie Ivey Crawford, 63, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away peacefully at her home on January 5, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Ivey and Louise Ivey Reece; father-in-law Charles Crawford.            

Mrs. Crawford is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Chuck Crawford; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Chris Akins; sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Jamie Crawford, Wes and Jaime Crawford, Zack and Brooke Crawford; grandchildren, Hunter Akins, Dylan Akins, Emilee Akins, Ella Crawford, Chance Crawford, Connor Crawford, Colton Crawford, Kinsley Crawford, Grayson Crawford, Sophia Crawford and Brooklyn Crawford; mother-in-law Jeanne Crawford; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Danny and Kami Crawford, Tami Bennett, and Mitzi Crawford, and several nieces and nephews.   Mrs. Crawford was born March 16, 1958 in Sweetwater, TN.  She received her education at Buford High School and was a member of the class of 1975.  She worked for Sherwin Williams and retired in 2020.  Mrs. Crawford was an active member of the Buford Community.  She spent many years as the Buford Youth Softball Commissioner and managed the concession stand at the ballpark.  Mrs. Crawford enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband, spending summers at the beach and on the lake with her family and cheering on her talented and much-loved grandchildren.   But most of all, Mrs. Crawford was passionate about her family and loved them fiercely.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.     A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 11 from 2:00 pm until time for the service at 4:00 pm
