Hazel Marsingill Pirkle

Hazel Marsingill Pirkle, age 86, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Royce L. Pirkle; parents, Hubert and Lois Knight Marsingill.  She is survived by her children, Stephen Lee (Lisa Ann) Pirkle, Buford, GA, Barry L. (Eugenia Elizabeth) Pirkle, Tiger, GA, Larry Grant (Christy Lynn) Pirkle, Buford, GA, Amy Carol (David Earl) Springston, Buford, GA; 9 grandchildren, Keith (Jennifer) Pirkle, Steven (Misty) Stinchocomb, Joanie Pirkle, Nicholas Glynn (Karen) Pirkle, Justin Pirkle, Lauren (Kyle) Hall, Hannah Vaughn, Jennifer (Michael) Mack; 18 great-grandchildren; great-great-grandson, Logan Pirkle; sister, Frances (Joe) Tatum, Donalsonville, GA, Norma (Stanley) Orr, Greenville, SC; brother, David Marsingill, Buford, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Mrs. Pirkle was born June 8, 1935 in Buford, GA.  She received her education at Buford High School.  She was retired from The Lovable Company, Buford, GA and was a longtime member of Buford Church of God. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Buford Church of God with Pastor Joey Grizzle and Rev. Lamar Hansard officiating.  Interment will follow at Friendship Community Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA with a Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Lynn Pirkle.  The Family will Receive Friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.
