Franklin Roosevelt Morrison

Mr. Franklin Roosevelt Morrison, age 87, of Athens, GA died Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton.  Mr. Morrison was born in Commerce to the late J.P. and Edna Wood Morrison.  He was a member of the Baptist faith and was retired from St. Mary’s Healthcare.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his brothers, Darrell, Emory (Margot), Jimmy (Margo) and Larry; and a nephew, Stanley Morrison.

Mr. Morrison is survived by his nieces, Connie Phelps and Shirley Hill; nephew, Mike Morrison; four great-nieces, four great-nephews and one great-great-niece.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Saturday, January 15 graveside at Evergreen Memorial Garden with Rev. Bill Manus officiating.
