Wiley Quillian Wade, Jr.

Mr. Wiley Quillian Wade, Jr., 74, of Gillsville passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Allison and Rev. Rick Pritchett will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 19th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on December 1, 1947 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Wiley Quillian Wade, Sr. and the late Fannie Bell Canada Wade. Mr. Wade was retired from the United States Postal Service and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Wade was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wade is preceded in death by his son, Brian Keith Wade; brother, Ralph Wade and sister, Linda McIntyre.

Mr. Wade is survived by his wife, Judy Morgan Wade of Gillsville; daughter, Stephanie Wade Tillery of Marietta; son, Ronnie Wade of Kennesaw; stepsons, Stacey Carpenter of Clarkesville, Dwayne Carpenter of Flowery Branch, Garry Carpenter of Oakwood; brother in law, Mack McIntyre of Gainesville; nephew, Tim McIntyre of Gainesville; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives.
