James Donald Evans

James Donald Evans, 84 of Gainesville passed away January 18, 2022.

Born in Pickens County, Mr. Evans had lived in Hall County for most of his life.  He was the son of the late Arthur and Daisy Campbell Evans.  He was retired from Tyson Foods where he worked as a night shift supervisor.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie J. Evans, Gainesville, children, Frankie J. Evans, Cleveland, Teresa Evans Rundles, Gainesville, Renee Bennett, Cornelia, grandchildren, Jamie Ashe, Nicole Rundles, Josh Evans, Brittany Sullens, Cody Sullens, Becky Dover, Ryan Evans, 17 great grandchildren also survive, along with his sister, Mandeline Wehunt, Colfax, LA, a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 22, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Jimmy Peck will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions please be made to the Northeast Georgia Humane Society, 845 W. Ridge Road, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
