Harold Lavern Steed

Harold Lavern Steed, age 80, of Dacula, GA passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Ruby Steed; wife, Barbara Steed; brother, Billy Steed; sisters, Jean Cothran, Judy Sloan and Miriam Perry. Mr. Steed is survived by children, Greg (Alison) Steed of Dacula and Pam Steed of Tucker, GA; grandchildren, Marshall and Taylor Steed of Cumming, GA and Ethan Steed of Flowery Branch, GA; great grandchild, Miller Steed; brothers, Larry (Martha) Steed of Smyrna, GA and Kenneth Steed of McDonough, GA; and sister, Ruby Carol Parker of Westminster, SC. Mr. Steed was born on April 19, 1941 in Banks County and retired from Gates Rubber Company after many years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and mountain scenic trips, as well as trips to the Cracker Barrel. He was of the Baptist faith. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Coates officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until time for the funeral at 6:00 pm.
