Norman Leroy Wilson

Norman Leroy Wilson, age 76 of Mount Airy, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

Born in Des Moines, Iowa on August 16, 1945, he was a son of the late Carl & Hazel Richards Smith. Norman retired from Reynolds & Reynolds as a Customer Service Representative. In his earlier years, he enjoyed playing basketball, bowling, dirt bike racing, and frequenting the Casinos.

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Wilson & by his sisters, Donna Coates & Pat Caffery.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lynn Marie Leach Wilson of Bullhead City, AZ; daughters & sons-in-law, Alisa & David Guthrie of Mt. Airy, GA; Krista Zappia of Tryon, NC; Trisha & Brad Lewis of Bozeman, MT; brothers, Larry Wilson of Phoenix, AZ; & Jerry Wilson of CA; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

Mr. Wilson's wishes were to be cremated.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 05, 2022 at his daughter's residence, 203 Fedora Drive, Mount Airy, GA. 30563 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
