Shirlene Sam Grove Morrison

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Shirlene Sam Grove Morrison, age 73 of Winder, Georgia who entered rest Thursday, February 10, 2022.  Mrs. Morrison was born in Riverside, California a daughter of the late Vergil and Nadine Woods Grove, was retired from Majors Management as a Credit Manager and was a member of Bethlehem Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morrison is preceded by a sister, Marie Ferren. 

Survivors include her husband, Llewellyn “Lew” H. Morrison III of Winder.  Daughter, Jill Hansard (Greg) of Jefferson, son, Jarrod Murphy (Tracy) of Perry.  Grandchildren, Josh Hansard, Danielle Hansard, and Anna Murphy.  Step – son, Kevin Morrison (Kristen) of Lawrenceville, step - daughters, Jennifer Morrison of Arizona, and Whitney Smith (Travis) of Commerce.  Sister Myrlene Monday (Lyle) of California.  Three nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022, from the Bethlehem Church, 548 Christmas Avenue, Highway 11 North, Bethlehem, Georgia with Pastor Jason Britt officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Church 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
