Mr. John Michael Dempsey, age 70, of Flowery Branch passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, surrounded by his loving wife of 49 years, daughter and two sons.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 18, 2022 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Father Ignacio Morales will officiate. The family will receive family and friends 5:00p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
John was born October 31, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. A Veteran of the United States Air Force, he was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, a proud member of the NRA, and a retired Master Electrician.
John is survived by his wife, Toy Dempsey; children, Stephanie & Brian Taylor, Michael Dempsey and Nicholas & Katherine Dempsey; grandchildren, Aubrey Taylor, Marshall Dempsey and Elizabeth Dempsey; and sisters, Marianne Wandolowski, Joanne Colen, Gail Popovich and Korrie Dempsey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy & Louise Popovich and brother, Bill Dempsey.
