Clarence Lankford

Mr. Clarence Lankford, 82, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, February 17th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on July 26, 1939 in Woodville, GA he was the son of the late Jessee Lankford and the late Cleo Turner Lankford. Mr. Lankford was owner of a child-care business and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lankford was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter Langford, Roger Lankford; sisters, Betty Campbell and great-great granddaughter, Shannon Cohrs.

Mr. Lankford is survived by his wife, Grace Lankford of Gainesville; sons, Russell Lankford (Theresa) of Buford, Keith Lankford (Andrea) of Braselton; brothers, Bobby Lankford of Maxeys, GA, Charles Lankford (Sandra) of Danielsville; sisters, Darlene Carter of Conyers, Jeanette Carter of Eatonton, Joyce Dale (Delbert) of Stone Mountain, Gail Sturdivant of Bonaire, GA; grandchildren, Chad and Savannah Lankford of Jefferson, Brooke and Jim Cohrs of Nicholson, Nick Lankford of Danielsville, Chase Lankford of Braselton; great-grandchildren, Cameron Cohrs, Luke Cohrs, Kennady Lankford, Layne Lankford, Audrina Lankford, Chip Lankford and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
