Alice R. Martin

Mrs. Alice R. Martin, age 89, of Dahlonega, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

Mrs. Martin was born in Stratford, CT, on August 22, 1932, to the late Charles and Mary Ruzicka. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Martin, son Robert Martin, son-in-law Neal Anderson, and brother-in-law Joe Krisak. Mrs. Martin loved to work with her flowers and in her garden. She had worked and retired from The Dahlonega Nugget and Babyland General Hospital. Mrs. Martin's favorite things to do were to cook and bake.

Survivors include her daughters Patricia Anderson, Dahlonega; Carol Martin (Nate Bailey); sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Cassie Martin; Charles and Robin Martin, all of Dahlonega; son Edward Martin; sister Mildred Krisak, Trumbull, CT; grandchildren Dee and Jacob Autry, Andrew Cantrell, Erica Anderson, Jason and Sarah Martin, Jamie Martin; great-grandchildren Tristen Martin, Patriot Martin; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
