Shannon Hayes

Shannon Hayes, age 57, of Winder, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Paul and Lucille Hayes, and maternal grandparents, Pauline Hitte.  Mr. Hayes is survived by his father, Donald P. Hayes (Charlotte) of Lawrenceville, GA; mother, Agnes Hamilton (Ronnie) of Gainesville, GA; girlfriend, Ruth of Winder; sisters, Sherri Ball (Mike) of Snellville, GA, Lisa Matheson (Grady) of Hiawassee, GA, Beth Hamilton Walker of Lawrenceville, GA; brothers, Bill Hamilton of Gainesville, GA and Jason Hamilton (Jennah) of Homer, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mr. Hayes was born on September 15, 1964 in Buford, GA. He was a graduate of North Gwinnett High School and was a cabinet maker for a number of years. He loved old cars, and enjoyed riding his four wheelers. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Bill Hamilton and Grady Matheson officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
