Mary Frances Maloch

Mrs. Mary Frances "Fran" Maloch, age 72, of Dahlonega, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Fran was born in Dahlonega, GA, on November 1, 1949, to the late Paul Dalton and Willie Juanita Hunsinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Tommy Hunsinger, Brenda Brown, Debbie Ann Anderson, and seven infant siblings.

Fran simply loved life. Time spent with her family or watching a good WWE match on television brought her joy and laughter. Drinking coffee and finding treasures at yard sales were some of her favorite pastimes. Fran was a loving mother and Nanny or Nona to her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Shena Payne (Ricky) of Dawsonville; Beverly Kay Roy of Dahlonega; Joey Maloch (Amanda) of Dahlonega; her siblings Vera Etheridge (Steve) of Murrayville; Charlie Hunsinger (Debbie) of Dahlonega; Lynn Gooch (Doug) of Dahlonega; her sister-in-law Cheryl Hunsinger of Dahlonega; her grandchildren Ashley Payne, Rodney Payne, Joseph Maloch, Shane Maloch, Noah Maloch; her great-grandchildren Ethan Lance, Carly Bearden; special niece Kathy Taylor; several other nieces, nephews, and other relatives; last but not least her fur babies Izzy, Annabelle, and Sophie.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the chapel of Anderson Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Danny Jarrard and the Rev. Mark Stroud will officiate. The family will receive friends from noon until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home. Fran's wishes were to be cremated after the service.

The family wants to express their deep appreciation for the love and care of Mr. Bill with Northeast Georgia Hospice and her sister-in-law Debbie Hunsinger during Fran's illness.
