Mr. Edward “Eddie” Lee Adkins, Jr., 49, of Gainesville passed away March 20, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2022 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Bill Compton will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Born on January 17, 1973 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Edward Lee Adkins, Sr. and the late Lindy Grace Durham Adkins. Mr. Askins attended North Georgia Tech where he earned the degree of Master Welder and then began his career as a welder. He was a member of Belmont Baptist Church.
Mr. Adkins is survived by his aunts, Sandra Hayes and Judy Durham both of Gainesville; uncle, Billy Ray Adkins and a number of other loving relatives.
