Bobby “Bob” B. Smathers

Bobby “Bob” B. Smathers, 86, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Nelson Smathers. Mr. Smathers is survived by sons, Scott Nelson (Paula) Smathers of Braselton, GA and John Robert (Christie) Smathers of Flowery Branch, GA; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Smathers was born on January 6, 1936 in Waynesville, NC. He was a veteran of the U S Army.  Mr. Smathers received a Bachelor’s Degree and was a retired realtor. He enjoyed eating with his friends at Hardees in Buford, GA. No formal service is planned.
