Theodore Bobby Worsham

Theodore Bobby Worsham was born December 2, 1938 to Lacy and Mae Worsham. He attended Northwestern Elementary School and graduated from Fair Street High School in 1958. He was a member of the Tiger football team and the Black Boys Club. He was artistic and often honed his skills by sketching family portraits. He joined the Air Force in 1962 and served a 4-year tour of duty, which gave him an opportunity to see much of the United States. He married Hilda Rucker in 1967. Bobby was a kind, gentle soul who was always willing to help others whenever he could. He cared deeply for his family and was always excited about buying gifts for his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed nurturing his flower garden, especially his beautiful hydrangeas which he enjoyed sharing with his loved ones. He attended church regularly and was a member of the senior usher board. He was predeceased by brother Jimmy and sister Birdis. Left to cherish fond memories are his wife Hilda and 2 sisters, Gaile Cain and Mae Catherine Wilmont.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Saint John Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 between the hours of 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Family will receive friends from 7:00 PM- 8:00 PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
