Jean Adams

Mrs. Jean Adams, age 85, of Dahlonega went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. What a glorious reunion it had to be when she got to heaven and saw all her loved ones waiting for her there.
Jean was born in Dahlonega, GA on October 10, 1936.
She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Dora Bell Caldwell, her husbands Richard “Dickie” Moses and Howard Travis Adams, her daughter Gail Moses and son Ricky Moses and her sisters Berta Mae Manley and Joyce Caldwell.
She is survived by her children Vonda Moses of Dahlonega, Trent and Julie Adams of Flowery Branch and daughter Leshia Adams of Dahlonega, also her grandchildren Blakely Shope, Easton Waldrip, Truett and Maggie Adams and Anabel Adams, great grandchild Asher Shope, brothers Pete and Vivian Caldwell and Charles and Kathy Caldwell, her nephews, cousins and friends. 

She was a very loving and giving mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, watching her Atlanta sports teams and vacationing at the beach. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking them many good meals. She was a faithful member of Yahoola Baptist Church. Her strong faith and enduring spirit helped her through the many heartaches she had to face through her life. She will be so greatly missed by her family who deeply loved her and will cherish the many precious memories we were able to make with her.
The family wants to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and the phone calls we received. We also want to thank Northeast Georgia Medical Center Hospice for the excellent care she was given.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2022 at Yahoola Baptist Church. The Rev. Kris Butler, the Rev. Lyman Caldwell, the Rev. Terry Head and the Rev. Shane Caldwell will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the Rev. Andy Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the funeral home.
