Duane W. Huro, 81, of Gainesville, Ga., originally of St. Paul, MN, passed away on March 29, 2022. Private family services will be held on Friday April 1 at 11:00 at Little and Davenport Funeral home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday April 2, 2022 at Community Baptist Church in Sweetwater, Tenn. Services will be held at 2:00
Duane was born on Feb. 3, 1941 to Ernest and Lola Huro in St Paul, MN. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy and answered his nation's call by serving a tour in Vietnam. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His willingness to put the needs of others before his was a trait most admired by those who knew him. He epitomized the word “humble” as his life reflected it in his loving ways. Duane was a man of few words but his dedication to family and friends spoke volumes.
Duane was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ethel McKeehan, daughter Tina Huro, brothers, Wendell, Robert, Lawrence, Clarence and sisters Lois, Dorothy, Vivian, and Marian. He will be remembered by daughters Sherri Pariseau and Mary Seaverson, as well as brother, Norman (wife Donna) and sister-in-law Claudia Huro. In addition, he is survived by 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Duane (Gramps) was loved and will be greatly missed by his extended family. Daughters Gloria Chandler (husband Mike, Jason, Jeremy, Trinity, Celeste), Janet Lacek (husband Alan), Matthew, Chloe, Bella, Amanda, Brad, Aubrey, Amelia), Judy Woodby (Dedra, Jenny), Geraldine Mitchell (Keith, Aaron) and son Richard Jaynes (Kim, Sarah, Jennifer)
