Fabion Liron Rucker

Obituary Date: Friday, May 6, 2022
Fabion Liron Rucker was born in Gainesville, Ga on November 23, 1959. He was the eldest son of Mrs. Willene and Mr. Eugene Summerour.
 
Fabion, as his family called him was also affectionately called “Lil Man” by those who knew and loved him dearly. Fabian leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 23 years Mrs. Connie Thomas Rucker of Lula, Georgia.
 
Fabion had a quiet yet, unassuming personality that allowed him the pleasure of making friends easily. He loved cooking and accepted the challenges from his brothers in grilling cook-offs. Fabion loved family and he loved spending time fishing. He treasured the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.  Fabion was a realist. He always accepted whatever situation he was in and was prepared to deal with it accordingly. 
 
Fabion attended and graduated from Gainesville High School where he played chess every morning with members of the chess team.  Fabion was employed by King Hawaiian.
 
Fabion gave his life to Jesus at an early age and grew up in the First Baptist Church of Gainesville, Ga. There he sung in the choir and attend Sunday School. Years later Fabion and Connie became members of Church of Life in Lula, Ga.
 
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his children: Mr. Justin (Julie) Rucker, Ms. Tiere Harrison, Mrs. LaKisha (DeAndre) Harmon, Mr. John Thomas, Mrs. LaTosha (Lamar) Lawson and Mrs. Sandorica (Tez) Mayweather of Lula and Gainesville, Georgia.
 
He also leaves to cherish his precious memories his brothers and sisters who salutes him for being a man of his word: Mrs. Vickie (Rev. Russell) Smith, Rev. Dianne (Curtis) Haynes, Mr. Timothy (Sonya) Rucker, Mrs. Dorothy (Kenneth) Bolden, Mrs. Lisa (Herb) Mize, Ms. Maxine Harvey, Ms. McKenzie Harvey, Mrs. Martha Ann Pulliam, Mrs. Edna Mintz, Mrs. Geneva Lipscomb and Mr. Leroy Hopkins.
 
To this union was added 18 grandchildren, and two dear sisters Mrs. Mary (Michael) Mason and Mrs. Patricia (Derek) Brownlee and his faithful and trusting father-in-law Mr. Henry Thomas.
 
Fabion leaves to cherish his memories a beloved host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
