Marilyn Gale Saunders age 71 of Gainesville entered heaven Friday morning May 13, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.
Marilyn was born January 17, 1951 in Miami, Florida to the late Gail & Mary Kolendo Wagner. She had been a restaurant manager for McDonald’s for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Saunders; brothers, Richard Wagner, Leo Wagner & Robert Wagner.
Left to cherish sweet memories, daughters, Tracey (David) Lush, Stacey (Hank Sauer) Poole & Marcey (Jonathan) Simpson; brother, Montie (Wanda) Wagner; sister, Marsha (Joseph) Penna; 7 grandchildren, Leigha Lush, David Lush, Jr., Tyler Duff, Kaitlyn Poole, Thomas Poole, Chloe Simpson & Ethan Simpson; 3 great grandchildren and another on the way. A number of other relatives also survive.
Services to honor Marilyn’s life will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday May 15, 2022 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home
