Jerry David Mulkey

Jerry David Mulkey, 68, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Northside Forsyth Hospital, Cumming, GA.  He was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Frances Louise Mulkey. He was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church, Dawsonville, GA.  He loved to hunt and fish but most of all he loved to spend time with his family, most specially his grandchildren.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Mulkey; sister, Joyce Smallwood; brother, Danny Mulkey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Bonnie Mulkey of Dawsonville, GA; children Josh and Kelly Mulkey of Dawsonville, GA, Maranda and Jason Crane of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren Brannon Mulkey, Dustin Mulkey, Lydia Crane, Karley Crane, Angel Mulkey; great grandchildren Braden, Easton, and Saylor; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Union Baptist Church, Dawsonville, GA with the Reverend’s Josh Mulkey, Jason Crane, Mason Caine, and Jimmy Wehunt officiating.  Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 9:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
