Richard Brandon Owen

Mr. Richard Brandon Owen, age 38 of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2022 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 3, 2022 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home in the Chapel. Casey Compten will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Owen was born February 6, 1984 to Richard Owen & Teresa Wentz in Fort Worth, Texas. He worked as a realtor for Century 21. He volunteered to assist disabled children with Orlando Outreach and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.

He is survived by his mother & stepfather, Teresa & Mark Malone; father & stepmother, Richard & Jaquelyn Owen; sister & brother-in-law, Nyia & Andrew Scalet; sister & fiancé, Noelle Owen & Lane Stephens; and grandmother, Joyce Wentz.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobbye Jean & Foster Owen.
