Mrs. Frances Adeline Gailey Donaldson, age 84 of Lovell Road, Toccoa passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at her residence.
A daughter of the late Lee and Arizona Brock Gailey, she was born March 9, 1938 in Banks County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, and crossword puzzles and loved watching the Atlanta Braves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Donaldson.
Survivors include a daughter, Lucretia Donaldson (Jill Roberts) of Clarkesville; four sons, Kenneth Donaldson, John (Tammy) Donaldson and Lee Donaldson all of Toccoa and Roy (Denise) Donaldson of Hartwell; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Gailey of Toccoa and James Wiley Gailey of Banks County; sister, Carrie Norton of Banks County; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Billy Swift officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Brian Donaldson, Greg Blackwell, Shane Blackwell and Tanner Rhulen.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from noon until the service time. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Frances Adeline Gailey Donaldson.
