Ralph Duttweiler

Obituary Date: Sunday, June 5, 2022

 

Ralph Duttweiler passed away quietly on June 5, 2022 after spending almost two enjoyable years at Phoenix on Lanier.   Devoted husband of Gloria Minch Duttweiler (who predeceased him), both long-time residents of Ridgewood, NY, Ralph was a proud member of the Marine Corps’ Grey Ghost airplane squadron, having served during the Korean War.  Father of Larry Duttweiler (Marcia) of Clermont and Carol Duttweiler McHale (John) of Langhorne, PA and grandfather to Major William Duttweiler, USMC, Chelsea Edwards, Colton Duttweiler, Sean McHale, and Katie McHale.   He recently visited with his great-children Hunter, Sibby, and Woods Duttweiler.  Ralph was also proud of having helped install the heating and air systems in the Twin Towers as well as the Marriott Marquis Hotel overlooking Times Square as a long-time member of Local 73 Sheet Metal Workers Union.
