Anthony D. Tatum, 57, of Gainesville, GA passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, T.J. Tatum and Gloria Mayfield Hollis; and son, Austin Tatum, Jr. Anthony is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Carol Smith Tatum of Gainesville, GA; grandson, Mason Loggins of Gainesville, GA; sister, Lowanda Hollis of Jefferson, GA; and aunt and uncle, Betty and Dewey Loving of Buford, GA. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Mr. Tatum was born June 18, 1964 in Buford, GA and received his education at Johnson High School in Oakwood, GA. He was a welder for B.S.B. Plumbing in Cleveland, GA for the past six years and was of the Baptist Faith. Anthony enjoyed riding his Harley and working on race cars. He was also a home builder. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
