Elsie Erna Weisenbacher

Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel announces the death of Mrs. Elsie Erna Weisenbacher, age 99, of Gainesville, who passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.     Mrs. Weisenbacher was born in Elderfeld , Germany, a daughter to the late Wilhelm Dohne’ and the late Erna Held. Mrs. Weisenbacher was a homemaker and a wonderful wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weisenbacher was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Arthur Weisenbacher and her brother, Robert Dohne’.

Survivors include her daughters, Andrea Stephens and her husband Richard of Lula, Linda Rusch and her husband Robert White of Gainesville; grandchildren, Alexandra Stephens of Oakland, CA, Heather Rusch of Baltimore, MD, Sean Stephens of Washington, DC, Michael Rusch of Portland, OR; great grandchild, Nyla Rusch, of Portland, OR also survives.

The Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 4:00 PM in the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel with Chaplin Zachry Lauersdorf officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel, prior to the service.
