Mr. Herman C. Warbington, age 93, of Dahlonega, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, atSeasons Hospice in Cumming following a period of declining health.
Mr. Warbington was a true John Deere man, having retired from the company's printing department following a career as a field representative. He loved anything that was "John Deere."
He enjoyed flowers and maintained an immaculate yard, sometimes cutting the grass when it really didn't need it. He also loved working with his hands and building things. Herman loved
children, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Dunwoody Baptist Church.
Mr. Warbington is survived by his wife, Sara Sellers Warbington, and children; Barbara Lee Williamson (Jim), Portland, OR, Tracey Warbington, Cleveland, GA, Gayle Miller (Dave), Sylvester, GA, Charles Brooks, brother; Eddie Warbington, Lawrenceville, GA, sisters-in-law: Marion Flynn, Augusta, GA, Dorothy Pendry, Thomson, GA, grandchildren; Christina Woodard, Nick, Ashlee, and Evan Williamson, great grand-
children; Ian and Christian Woodard.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with the Rev. James Wilbanks, the Rev. Joe Simmons, and the Rev. Keith Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in North Atlanta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 4, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
