Michael Lee Prather

Michael Lee Prather, 64, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Prather, stepdaughter, Bobbie McClure; grandparents, E.T. and Eva Grace Collins and Dewey and Grace Prather. Michael was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Pat Collins Prather of Florida; siblings, Phyllis (Mike) Jackson, Susan (Craig) O’Neal, Ron (Renee) Prather; several special cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Inurnment services will be held Saturday, July 9, at 10:00 a.m. at Sawnee View Gardens with Rev. Danny Bennett officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Forsyth Middle School (in memory of Michael Prather) at 3645 Coal Mountain Drive; Cumming, GA 30028.
